Miss J Campbell - Bee Propolis - Wound Infection
About 3 years ago I had what is called a "drastic hysterectomy" after abnormal cells were found to be present. After the operation, during which I haemorrhaged, I also contracted an infection in the wound area. My doctor prescribed a strong, wide spectrum antiobiotic, which did get rid of the initial infection. Unfortunately, I then contracted a second infection in the same wound, thus preventing the wound to heal in the proper way and because the first course of antibiotics killed all the good bacterial this left me vulnerable to further infections. A very good friend of mine recommended the FLP Bee Propolis tablets from Sarah, which I had heard of but I did initially had my doubts that it would work. In any case, I started taking the Bee Propolis instead of the second course of antibiotics and the infection in my wound cleared up within 2 weeks. My wound then had chance to heal properly and I was then totally converted. To this day if I have any problems, the start of a cold; problems with digestion etc, I reach for the Bee Propolis and within a few days everything has cleared up. I would thoroughly recommend Bee Propolis tablets, a product that only kills the good bacteria must be far better for you.
Mr & Mrs K Cockburn – Duet Bracelet and Explorer 2 – Osteoarthritis
After years of suffering with joint pain due to arthritis, my husband and I wanted a more natural remedy. We tried approximately 4 different magnetic bangles, all of which promised to banish joint pain etc. They were not dear purchases but after trying each one we noticed no difference, so they were put away in a drawer and we gave up hope that there was a more natural solution.
We then came across the Ecoflow – Bioflow range that you stock, I’ll be honest after so many disappointments and with the slightly higher cost this did put us off for a little while, but after we read all the literature that you provided us with we decided to give them a go and my husband purchased an Explorer 2. Within minutes he commented on the warm feeling he described as almost flowing up his arm. A week later I purchased a Duet bangle, I did not get the same immediate reaction but did notice that a few weeks later, after I had driven to Cornwall I did not suffer the usual aches and pains especially in my wrists.
My husband decided to test the strength of the magnets in each of the various bracelets we had purchased with a Magnetic Field Strength Indicator, but none of these even moved the needle that much, where as when he tested the Bioflow bracelets there was a marked difference.
I have to say that the quality of the Bioflow bracelets, I feel is second to none. My Duet bangle still looks as good as the day I bought it. I do realise they are not a cure and very occasionally we get the old aches and pains but they have still made a big difference in our everyday life. We can honestly say that we are extremely happy with the results and it does go to prove that you only get what you pay for. Thank you Sarah and Ecoflow.
Mrs D Wrigglesworth – Ollie – Waiora Zeolite – Canine Fibro Sarcoma Tumour
- (Inserted Sept 2009 – Ollie is still with us)
Ollie and I have been together for 9 years and 10 months and I can’t even imagine a life without him. To me he is the most amazing dog in the whole wide world. He is loyal, affectionate, obedient and all things good about a happy, fun dog. If he could go everywhere with me he would – he even walks out to the bins with me! If I’m in the shower he’s lying outside the bathroom, if I’m in the kitchen he’s lying in the doorway watching me. He lies on top of me like a ‘babe-in-arms’ every night on the sofa, looking up at me adoringly until he falls asleep. In November 2007 Ollie was diagnosed with a fibro sarcoma, which is a malignant tumour, and we were told that it was very aggressive and that he had between 3 and 6 months to live. I was devastated.
At the beginning of November I had noticed a lump in Ollie’s mouth and taken him to the vets, they took a biopsy and sent the mass off to the lab for histology tests. When the results came back I was completely floored. I had no idea that Ollie could possibly be that unwell as other than the mass in his mouth he was absolutely fine.
We were given a couple of options; operate – which would mean taking half of his face away to make sure that we’d got it all or have chest x-rays and a lymph biopsy to see if the disease had gone to a secondary stage and take things from there. I went home and did a bit of research and found out that if we did the x-ray and it showed up as negative, we could then do the operation only to find that the disease could have gone secondary. It’s such an aggressive form of the disease that it grows so rapidly. I felt that to operate and take away half of his face was too extreme. He loved his food. How could he eat with only half a face? I also felt that if we operated his immune system might be over stretched at a time when it was needed to fight the cancer. It was probably the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life but I wasn’t comfortable with any of these options and decided to look at supporting his immune system nutritionally and making the time he had left the best of his life.
I had been studying to be a Nutritional Therapist for about 18 months at this point and read all of my notes and investigated websites that I know to check out what could be done for someone with cancer. Once I’d got my information together I ran my plan past Alex England at The Pool House Veterinary Group who said that at this stage in Ollie’s cancer anything would be worth a try. I also ran it past Sarah Hughes at Highfield Canine Hydrotherapy. Sarah had just sat her exams to qualify as a small animal nutritionist and I wanted to make sure that the information I’d gathered on human nutrition for this condition would transfer to a dog. Ollie started on his new diet straight away; luckily for me he’ll eat anything!
On the 31st January 2008 Ollie had surgery again to remove the re-grown mass in his mouth. I didn’t feel that I could leave the newly grown lump as it would ultimately obstruct his eating. He recovered well and considering he was given such a short amount of time to live I felt that we were doing well. I asked Alex, our vet, if it could be possible that we could have slowed the growth but it was difficult to know.
In the February 2008 Sarah suggested a product she had just discovered, something which I had not come across – Zeolite. After reading the information I decided that it was worth a try and started putting it into Ollie’s meals. At this point no-one would have guessed that anything was wrong with Ollie; he was just like he always was and seemed absolutely fine. I gradually increased the dose of Zeolite as recommended by Sarah and carefully monitored him. He went through a few days of seeming very tired and was much more ‘cuddly’ than usual. If I sat on the sofa for only a minute he would want to come up to lie on me. I suspected a healing crisis – which is always a good sign but wondered if it was just wishful thinking...
On the 30th April 2008 Ollie started limping so I took him back to see Alex at the vets and he was given some Metacam. This pain killer comes as a liquid with a dispensing pipette to measure the dosage. Sarah had suggested several times that Zeolite would probably work better if I could put it directly into Ollie’s mouth but trying to hold his mouth open with him wriggling because he doesn’t like it and dispense the drops was impossible so I had carried on putting it into his food. Ollie had his Metacam and I decided to use the pipette to dispense the Zeolite drops directly into Ollie’s mouth. With the promise of a treat afterwards this was a really easy way of getting him to take it!
While I had been at the vets Alex had had a look in Ollie’s mouth and we had discussed the fact that when Ollie’s leg was better he’d need to have another operation to remove the re-grown mass in his mouth. It was back to the size it had been when we’d had it removed before. Alex suggested that we look at operating in a couple of weeks. Again I asked if he thought we’d slowed down the growth but it was impossible to say, we could only hope and carry on doing what we were doing.
I really regret that I didn’t check Ollie’s mouth over the next couple of weeks. When I did pin him down to have a look in his mouth on 15th May 2008 I couldn’t see anything. It was later in the evening and I decided that the bad light and Ollie’s wriggling meant that I couldn’t see properly.
The following day I checked again, in brilliant sunlight so that I could see properly. It had gone! I checked over and over again that day – nothing but a little scar. I think poor little Ollie thought I’d gone mad but so did I! I made an appointment to see Alex that evening; I think he was as confused as me. I asked if he’d known this to happen to any of his other patients that had been diagnosed with a fibro sarcoma and he told me that it he couldn’t think of any. Dogs that have a fibro sarcoma die within the 3 – 6 month time scale. It had now been 5 ½ months since we’d had the news and the mass had disappeared. The only difference that I’d made in that 2 weeks was that I was giving Ollie his Zeolite directly into his mouth. Everything else in his diet and lifestyle was as it had been since he was diagnosed.
Today it is 1 August 2008 and Ollie is in fine form. It has been 8 months and 9 days since we were told that Ollie had 3 – 6 months to live and he is as good as ever. I’ve kept him on his diet and he still has the full dosage of Zeolite – I’m too nervous to stop either at the moment. I’ve decided that once he’s been on it for a year I’ll start to lower his dosage. I’ll never stop it all together or alter his diet – it supports his immune system and I’d rather keep him on it than risk the cancer coming back again.
In the meantime I’ve started taking it myself (it can be used for humans as well). I stopped taking it for a couple of days and when I re-started at the dosage I’d built up to I experienced a healing crisis – headaches, nausea and a feeling of being tired. As I said before this is a good sign as it means that toxins are being cleared out of the system. I plan to keep taking it myself although apart from the healing crisis I’ve had no visible benefits but I know that it works as I’ve seen the results for myself. My little Ollie is living proof that it works and I would, and am, recommending it to everyone.
